Gillian Smith

I have a B.A.(Hons) degree in Multidisciplinary Design, N. Staffs' University. In 1984, I was invited to attend a postgraduate course at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. I completed my studies there in 1986 and exhibited my work in the degree show. This led to several exhibitions throughout the Netherlands and Europe, and a grant from the Dutch government to enable me to set up myself as a professional artist.

I have continued to make my own work and exhibit it regularly. Recent work can be seen (and bought) in the "Kunst-Uitleen" (art-libraries) of Gouda, Hilversum, Leeuwarden and Zwolle. Please check out my C.V., for more information please contact me.
